The most interesting saws that ECE makes are their bow saws. This type of saw is very popular in continental Europe and for a good reason. This is a universal saw that excells in larger joinery - e.g. large tenon and mortise joints. It will outpace panel saw (e.g. Disston D8) when ripping because the blade is thinner. It does a very good job when resawing. Some people get carried away and even use it for dovetails!
ECE Bow saw comes in two sizes and there are five different saw blades to choose from. If you take a good look, you'll also find a handy stair saw.

Cross-Cut Saw
Use this saw for cross-cutting. It has Japanese style teeth which have been hardened to RC70! They are too hard to be resharpened, but will last long. The teeth are relatively fine (12 TPI) and will do a fine job. You can use this saw for general crosscutting as well as finer joinery. For example, this saw can handle sawing tenon shoulders. Blade thickness is 0.024".
