of adjustable mouth. #704 ECE Primus Smoothing Plane will leave
wonderful smooth surface on all but the gnarliest woods. When properly
honed and set for a light cut, it will produce thin, full width
ribbon-like shavings.

Primus Jack Plane is 9 1/2 inches long, which is continental European
measure for the jack plane. For those who prefer British/North
American version (longer), there is the English
Pattern Jack Plane. The blade is bedded at 45 degrees which

first plane that you would use on a rough board. Its purpose is

- ECE Primus Rabbet Plane
Primus Rabbet Plane is probably the most advanced plane of this
type in existence. It has a depth adjuster, which is unheard of
for this type of planes. The adjustable mouth and the chipbreaker
will let you take fine shavings. On traditional rabbet planes the
mouth is not adjustable, and as the bottom wears out, the mouth
gets bigger and bigger. This creates more and more tearout. Not
so with the Primus Rabbet. Just slide the mouth piece and close
that gapping mouth!
